The Challenge
A premium baijiu brand needed a gift box that survived long-distance export while presenting like jewellery on arrival.
Our Solution
1200gsm rigid board, moulded pulp insert engineered to the bottle silhouette, textured paper wrap with gold foil and a concealed magnetic closure.
The Result
Zero breakage across the first export shipment and a repeat order within eight weeks.
Project Story
Luxury Spirits Gift Box started from a single constraint: a premium baijiu brand needed a gift box that survived long-distance export while presenting like jewellery on arrival. The failure mode we had to design out first was glass-to-glass contact — everything else in the specification follows from that.
Structure
We resolved it with a double-door rigid box, sized to the actual contents rather than to a stock die-line. A satin-lined insert holds each piece at a fixed position, so the pack arrives square and opens the same way every time.
Materials
Rigid greyboard wrapped in metallic-finish paper carries the load. Board grade and wall thickness are matched to the weight and fragility of the contents, so the box survives palletised freight without corner crush or lid bow.
Printing and finishing
Branding is applied with hot-foil stamping and finished with soft-touch lamination with gold foil edges. Colour runs to CMYK, with Pantone spot matching for brand-critical marks and a printed proof before the run.
Quality control
Each run is checked against the approved sample: dimensions, insert fit, colour density and finish adhesion. Drop and stack tests are available for export shipments.
Applying this to your project
Zero breakage across the first export shipment and a repeat order within eight weeks. Die-line, insert tooling and board spec are kept on file, so repeat runs need no re-tooling. Send us product dimensions and target quantity for a quote against this structure.
